The colours of the print is inspired by a special naturally dyed silk produced in Guangdong province. It is called Liangchou (莨绸）or Xiangyunsha (香云纱). The unique deep colours of Liangchou silk is created by using soil in a specific area and sunlight plays an important part of the dyeing process.
